Assam is home to more than 700 domesticated elephants and around 5,800 wild elephants. Many suffer from arthritis, partial blindness, bone pain, and poor health due to inadequate care and maintenance.
For the last 10 years, Nature’s Observer (CB) has been caring for ill, weak, and elderly elephants by providing timely veterinary treatment, nutritious food, and loving care. We also provide food to wild elephants when they come out of the forest searching for food.
Due to limited resources, we are struggling to continue this vital service.
