Category: Class 5 to 10
Topic: Pollution
Last Date of Submission: 30th August

Title: The Cry of a Polluted Earth

Artist’s Statement:
Pollution is the silent destroyer of our planet. Through this artwork, I wanted to show how the Earth is suffering because of our careless actions — smoke rising from factories, plastic choking oceans, garbage piling on land, and animals struggling to survive.

In one half of my canvas, I’ve painted a polluted world — dark skies, dirty water, sick trees, and crying animals. On the other half, I’ve painted a clean, green Earth — blue skies, healthy forests, and happy wildlife. This is a choice we all face: continue polluting, or protect our planet.

I believe that even small steps can make a big difference. By saying no to plastic, planting trees, and keeping our surroundings clean, we can build a better, safer world for all.
Let us hear the Earth’s cry and act before it’s too late.
